About the club
The Red Barons RC Flying Club is AMA charter club #151 and an AMA Gold Leader Club, founded in 1967, with about 26 members in the Marysville and Yuba City area. The club flies on more than 25 acres at the Toyota Amphitheatre property on Forty Mile Road in Wheatland, an FAA-recognized FRIA site with an asphalt runway and pits. The field is behind a locked gate, and guests may fly only with a member present, arranged through the club. The club website has not been updated in several years, so contact the club before visiting.
