Desert Valley Vultures (DVV)

Desert Valley Vultures (DVV) is AMA charter club #4808, a model aircraft club serving Ridgecrest and the Indian Wells Valley with about 23 members. The club traces its roots to model flying at China Lake NAWS in the late 1940s and 1950s, and took its current form in 2017 after moving off base for security reasons. The club flies at a gated, secured site near Trona Airport, with a covered shelter, setup tables, startup stands, safety fences and windsocks. AMA membership is required, and guest pilots and spectators are welcome. Contact the club before visiting for access.
