RC Flyers Unlimited (RCFU)

RC Flyers Unlimited (RCFU) is AMA club #1442, with about 109 members. The club flies at Ward Hendricks Field at Woodward Reservoir near Oakdale, where the runway was paved in 1995. The field has a 780 ft paved runway, paved pits, two shade structures, a float area, control-line circles and night flying. The club says all are welcome to come as guests at any time, with AMA membership required. A club instructor is available for new pilots, and juniors and family members pay reduced dues. Meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 10 am at the field. Events through the year include an IMAC contest, float flies and warbird racing.
