Associated Modelers of Sacramento (AMOS)

The Associated Modelers of Sacramento (AMOS) is AMA club #4587, chartered in 2004, with about 210 members. The club flies at AMOS Field at E Catlett and Fiddyment Rds, about 3 miles southwest of Lincoln in Placer County. The field has a 725 ft main runway, a helicopter pad, drone race track, control-line circles, a covered shelter and a permanent cafe. All power types are flown, including turbines. The club offers free buddy-box training for fixed wing, helicopters and drones, and has a youth division within its junior membership. AMOS hosts public events through the year, and non-members pay a registration fee for those events.
