Santa Barbara RC Club (SBRC)

The Santa Barbara RC Club (SBRC) is AMA club #797 and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with about 64 members. The club flies electric aircraft and gliders on a grass field at Elings Park South, on Cliff Dr below the paraglider launch. Learn-to-Fly sessions with a buddy box run on Saturday mornings at the South Entrance, and the first intro lesson is free. Youth membership is free. Flying is for members of SBRC or Elings Park Electric Flyers and their guests, and a separate Elings Park flying membership is required. The club also holds a few float flies a year at Cachuma Lake. Meetings are on the 1st Thursday of even months.
