Southern Alameda County Radio Controllers (SACRC)

Southern Alameda County Radio Controllers (SACRC) is AMA club #162, incorporated in 1967, with about 127 members. The club flies at the Lou Haynie Memorial Flying Field on Dorado Dr in Union City, next to Mariner Park near the bay. The site is an FAA-Recognized Identification Area. The field is gated and kept locked, and members receive a gate key. Gas and glow are allowed but turbines are not. The club has a Learn to Fly page for new pilots, juniors pay half dues, and club meetings are held at the field. Dues amounts are not posted, and an initiation fee applies to new members.
