About the club
The Santa Clara County Model Aircraft Skypark (SCCMAS) is AMA club #110 and, with about 521 members, one of the largest clubs in Northern California. It was founded in 1978 as the Santa Teresa Fliers and has flown at its present Morgan Hill site since 1986. The Skypark sits on 40 acres of county land near Coyote Creek and has a 516 ft paved runway plus grass runways, a clubhouse, covered shelter, heli hover area, turbine start pads and control-line circles. The site is an FAA-Recognized Identification Area. The club offers training and youth programs, and youth dues are reduced. Vehicle access is for current members only.
