Hemet Model Masters

Hemet Model Masters is a large AMA club (#1376) in southwest Riverside County with more than 170 members. It runs two flying sites: a paved air park on Simpson Road in Hemet, and the dirt Lakeview (Davis) Field east of Lake Perris, which is popular for soaring contests. The main air park has a 600 x 70 ft paved runway, fully paved pits with a long shade structure and a concrete heli pad, and supports gas, glow, electric and turbine aircraft. The club hosts AMA-sanctioned events including the U.S. Scale Masters Championship and a fall 3D/freestyle event. New members need an AMA card and a club sponsor, and flight instruction is offered.
