San Diego Wingmasters

San Diego Wingmasters (AMA #1615) flies at the Cliff Bruce R/C Airfield on the old Gopher Canyon landfill in Vista. The paved runway was improved in 2026, and the field has a covered shelter, porta-potties, benches and start-up stands. It is an airplanes-only field: no helicopters, multirotors or VTOL-only aircraft. Electric aircraft fly most hours, with a 90 dB noise limit; glow is limited to long-time members, and gas and turbines are not allowed. Members may bring one AMA-member guest a day, flying electric only.
