Palomar RC Flyers

Palomar RC Flyers (AMA #141) is one of North County San Diego's biggest clubs, with more than 200 members flying airplanes, helicopters and multirotors. Its long-time home, Johnson Field at I-15 and Hwy 76 near Fallbrook, has a 600 x 40 ft paved runway, a separate heli area with four pads, shade, toilets and room for RVs. The club expects to lose Johnson Field to development and is moving to a new field in Valley Center, which is already in use. Visitors can fly on a day pass with AMA, FAA registration and TRUST. The club offers free flight training on Monday evenings plus ground school, and holds fun flies, combat and a yearly heli fun fly.
