Southern California Organization of RC Helicopters (SCORCH)

SCORCH (AMA #2204) is a small helicopter club that flies at the heli pad by Point Vicente Park and the Rancho Palos Verdes Civic Center. The site is for RC helicopters and drones only, from 9 AM until an hour before sunset, with a 400 ft ceiling. Flying there needs a city permit, issued through SCORCH, plus AMA membership and FAA registration. A club sponsor is required. The club has no website; contact it through the AMA club listing.
