About the club
AMA Club #4117 (District VIII, 42 members) flying at the privately owned Weidner Field near Alamogordo, which has asphalt runways and pits, control-line circles, a helicopter pad, clubhouse, covered shelter, power and camping; the club offers pilot instruction and youth programs and has run Corsair Day and Toys for Tots events.
