Peninsula Silent Flyers (PSF)

Peninsula Silent Flyers (AMA #2065), founded in 1985, is a South Bay club for electric RC aircraft, gliders and free flight. Members fly at two city sites: the grass ball field at Entradero Park in Torrance (electric and gliders under 5 lb, no flying during baseball) and the Del Cerro Park bluffs in Rancho Palos Verdes for slope soaring (gliders under 4 lb). No glow or gas engines are allowed at either site. Pilots need a full (Open) AMA membership, not Park Pilot, plus a city flying permit for each site.
