About the club
Glider-only RC soaring club (AMA #2988) founded in 1991 as an offshoot of the Brunswick Area Modelers, with interests in thermal duration, slope, hand-launch, F3J/F3B and electric gliders; club winches and retrievers support thermal flying. Its AMA-listed field is the Twin Brooks Recreation Area in Cumberland, Maine.
