About the club
AMA Gold Leader Club (charter #340) founded in 1972 and named for its first flying site on the unfinished I-495 roadbed; about 160 members fly airplanes, helicopters, gliders, autogyros, powered parachutes and multirotors, and the club also runs an RC car & truck track. Offers free flight training, with a weekly Thursday training night in season.
