Recreational pilots need an FAA TRUST certificate, and aircraft over 250 g must be FAA registered.

About this field

The Vaca Valley Radio Controllers field is off Cement Hill Road in Fairfield, between Fairfield and Vacaville. Look for the VVRC sign at the entrance. The field is an FAA-recognized FRIA site with an asphalt runway, a covered shelter, porta-potties and a helicopter pad.

The entrance is gated. AMA membership is required, and guests are welcome, so contact the club before visiting to arrange access. Read the VVRC field rules on the club website before you fly.
