About this field
The Tokay Radio Control Modelers field is in the Delta west of Thornton, toward Isleton. From I-5, take the Thornton exit west about 4 miles to the Y at Race Track Rd, turn left and go about 2 miles; the field is on the left at the end of a dirt path.
It has a 750 x 60 ft fabric runway, and the club says the site is an FAA-Recognized Identification Area. Visitors are always welcome, and visiting pilots fill in a form. AMA membership, FAA registration and the TRUST certificate are required. Check with the club before visiting.
