About this field

Burgdorf Henson Field is the WDARC field on County Rd 29 between County Rds 102 and 105, west of Davis in Yolo County. It has a 600 x 57 ft geotextile runway, a control-line area, a helicopter area, a covered shelter, power, camping and fences, with night flying.

Flying hours are 8 am to sundown daily. The field is gated and open when members are present, and visitors are welcome then. AMA membership is required. The club site says the field is an FAA-Recognized Identification Area, but the AMA FRIA list does not show it, so check with the club before visiting.
