About this field
The San Jose Wavemasters field is on a private dirt road off the east side of Hwy 25, about 1.6 miles south of Shore Rd and north of Hwy 156, near Hollister. Look for the white sign with a Corsair; the field is through a gate about half a mile in.
The field has a 400 ft asphalt runway with asphalt pits, porta-pots, setup tables and charging. AMA lists glow, gas, electric, helicopters and jets. Guests are welcome with AMA membership and the FAA TRUST certificate. Dogs are welcome but must stay off the runway. The field is an FAA-Recognized Identification Area.
