Rules for visitors

Airplanes, helicopters and multirotors. Electric, glow and gas allowed; no turbines. AMA required.

Recreational pilots need an FAA TRUST certificate, and aircraft over 250 g must be FAA registered.

About this field

Chollas RC Flyers fly at a gated field on College Grove Drive in east San Diego, with a 300 x 60 ft paved runway inside a flying area of about a quarter mile square, plus a shaded pit, heli pad, workbenches and porta-potties. The site is wheelchair accessible.

Guests are welcome with an AMA card; contact the club before visiting.
