Rules for visitors

Muffler required on IC engines; 95 dBA limit at 9 ft for engines >=30 cc (and others at board discretion); gas turbines and rockets not allowed without permission; no alcohol/drugs; no off-road vehicles; AMA and club membership proof required. Rules doc is Rev. 5-3-20 and refers to the former leased county field.
Per club rules (written for earlier field): guests may use the field for 3 introductory visits; guests without AMA membership fly buddy-system only

Recreational pilots need an FAA TRUST certificate, and aircraft over 250 g must be FAA registered.

Flying field of Desert Eagles Model Airplane Flying Club (DEMAFC) (AMA club #3813).

FAA FRIA 2025-CBO-00358-FRIA for 'Noise Park' (8433 W Arco Hwy, valid to 2030-01-31). Gate combination is provided with membership sticker. A separate older FRIA (2023-CBO-00978, 5050 S 45th W) is also on the FAA list for the previous field; club says field moved and new field operational Aug 2026.
