About this field
The Cliff Bruce R/C Airfield sits on the old Gopher Canyon landfill on Twin Oaks Valley Road in Vista and is run by San Diego Wingmasters. The paved runway was improved in 2026, and the field has a covered shelter, porta-potties, benches and start-up stands.
It is an airplanes-only field. The county requires no smoking and no open flame on the landfill site.
