About this field
Johnson Field is Palomar RC Flyers' long-time field at the northeast corner of I-15 and Highway 76 near Fallbrook. Turn north on Pankey Road off Hwy 76 East and go through the green gate. It has a 600 x 40 ft paved runway, a separate heli area with four pads, a covered shelter, pit tables, toilets, plenty of parking and room for RVs (no hookups).
The club expects to lose this field to housing and college development. Its new field in Valley Center is already in use; check the club website before visiting.
