About this field

A heli pad near Point Vicente Park and the Rancho Palos Verdes Civic Center (City Hall) is set aside for RC helicopters and drones, flown under a city permit managed by SCORCH, the Southern California Organization of RC Helicopters.

It is not a drop-in site: pilots need the city permit through the club, AMA membership and FAA registration.
