Rules for visitors

Electric RC, gliders and rubber / CO2 free flight only. No glow or gas engines. Aircraft under 5 lb. A Torrance permit ($75/year) and full (Open) AMA membership are required.

Recreational pilots need an FAA TRUST certificate, and aircraft over 250 g must be FAA registered.

Peninsula Silent Flyers fly electric aircraft and gliders on the grass Babe Ruth / Little League field at Entradero Park in Torrance. Flying stops whenever the ball field is in use, and the gate combination comes from a club officer.

Pilots need a City of Torrance flying permit and a full AMA membership (Park Pilot is not enough).
