Rules for visitors

Fence is the flight line; no flying/takeoffs from road, over shelter or parking lot; line-of-sight only, FPV per AMA rules; no rockets, kites, balloons or free flight; Sunday flying from noon as courtesy to nearby church.
Guests must fly with a current member present and carry an AMA card; after one or two guest visits pilots are expected to join.

Recreational pilots need an FAA TRUST certificate, and aircraft over 250 g must be FAA registered.

North Park, McCandless; 3/8 mile down the service road off Walter Rd (between School House and Roosevelt shelters), through yellow gate. Owned by Allegheny County Parks. FAA FRIA 2023-CBO-00104-FRIA (to 2027-08-11); club confirms FRIA.
