Rules for visitors

Fueled engines must have mufflers/canisters; no prop 'ripping' or loud flying; all flying east of the paved runway, none over neighbors' houses; fail-safe required; FPV pilots must use a spotter; turbines need AMA waiver (or buddy box with waivered pilot), start on blacktop with jet blast deflector and extinguisher; 50cc+ aircraft started at runway entrance with restraint; non-2.4 GHz transmitters impounded; no alcohol or illegal drugs; 5 mph speed limit on drive.
All pilots must be current AMA members. Visiting pilots must be accompanied at the flight line by a current RDRC Open Member, limited to 4 visits per calendar year (not counting club events).

Recreational pilots need an FAA TRUST certificate, and aircraft over 250 g must be FAA registered.
