Rules for visitors

Sunday-morning restriction (electrics only before 12:30 PM) because of neighboring church; detailed club rules are member-only.
AMA membership required; guest pilots welcome per AMA listing; free introductory flights with club trainers (Jim Widdis, Tim White, Mike Martin).

Recreational pilots need an FAA TRUST certificate, and aircraft over 250 g must be FAA registered.

Clubhouse, covered shelter, helicopter pad, night flying (AMA listing). FAA FRIA 2023-CBO-02963-FRIA (Greensboro Radio Aero Modelers #481 - Doggett Rd, valid to 2027-12-01). Weekly field maintenance Thursdays 4:30-6:30 PM; members also fly indoors with Foul Line Flyers at The Lewis Center, Greensboro (Wednesdays 6-9 PM). AMA Club of the Month Oct 2025.
