Rules for visitors

Landowner requires access by club members only; no visitors; no one under 18. Max altitude 400 ft. Airspace is controlled from the surface (Pompano Beach Class D); the FAA UAS facility map allows up to 300 ft with LAANC or the club’s FAA authorization. Slope soaring and gliders.

Recreational pilots need an FAA TRUST certificate, and aircraft over 250 g must be FAA registered.

Slope soaring and electric park-flyer site of the Pompano Hill Flyers (AMA club 3314) on a Waste Management landfill, used since 1992. Winches on site.
