Rules for visitors

No gas/nitro/glow engine running 10 PM-8 AM; no open exhaust on 2-strokes over .10 cu in; no gas turbine aircraft on the artificial turf runway; do not fly over pits, parking, container or methane manifold; no alcohol, drugs, rocketry, fireworks or campfires; drive only on prepared gravel surfaces (landfill lease rule).
AMA members may fly as guests of a current WCRC member (member must be present) up to six separate visits per year, or must join within one month of first visit; at fly-ins any AMA pilot may fly for a small landing fee. All pilots must be certified by a club instructor before flying solo.

Recreational pilots need an FAA TRUST certificate, and aircraft over 250 g must be FAA registered.

Flying field of Western Carolina Radio Club (WCRC Skyhawks) (AMA club #759).

Use the White Circle (Rd) entrance, not the landfill entrance; gravel access road through the landfill to parking by the storage container. Field leased from Greenville County (20-year lease signed 2019). FAA FRIA 2023-CBO-00866-FRIA (through Aug 21, 2027).
