Rules for visitors

Max altitude 400 ft. Airspace is controlled from the surface (Ormond Beach Class D); the FAA UAS facility map allows up to 200 ft with LAANC or the club’s FAA authorization; Daytona Beach Class C starts at 1,200 ft MSL.

Recreational pilots need an FAA TRUST certificate, and aircraft over 250 g must be FAA registered.
