Rules for visitors

City of Carrollton field rules: aircraft 20 lb or less; AMA safety code; flying stops in electrical storms or winds over 35 mph; no flying beyond field boundaries; minimum safety zone from roads, paths, picnic areas, etc. Race VTX set to 25 mW on assigned channel; failsafe checked at tech check.
AMA membership (full or Park Flyer) and FAA recreational registration required; City of Carrollton signed release/waiver required for every pilot; guest pilots must be accompanied by a member at all times; races are joined via the club's MultiGP chapter page.

Recreational pilots need an FAA TRUST certificate, and aircraft over 250 g must be FAA registered.
