Eldorado RC Flyers (EDRCF)

Eldorado RC Flyers (EDRCF) is AMA club #1683, with about 162 members. The club flies at a field on Payen Rd south of El Dorado Hills, which has a 440 ft runway with four pilot stations, a covered shelter, a helicopter pad and workbenches. The site is an FAA-Recognized Identification Area. Flying is for members and guests of members, and non-members can request a flight through the club contact form. Free training includes a formal orientation and checkout program. Gas and glow engines may not start before 8 am on weekdays or 9 am on weekends, and turbines are not allowed. Monthly meetings are held on a Saturday at 9 am at the field.
