Chartered with the AMA in 1975 and an AMA Gold Leader club, AAM operates the AAM Airpark on Arvada city parkland near Golden with two RC runways (east and west fields), a control-line circle and a dirt RC car track. The club has a free flight instruction program and hosts events such as Warbirds Over the Rockies; it is planning to relocate the airpark within the Arvada Blunn/Pioneer master-plan area.
