About the club
The Inland Empire Radio Control Club is a nonprofit group of Southern California RC hobbyists, started in 1981 and chartered with the AMA (#1614). Members fly fixed-wing planes, helicopters, sailplanes and multirotors, and the field also has a dedicated control-line area. The club's gated field is on Arlington Avenue in western Riverside, just east of the Hidden Valley Nature Center. Instructors help new pilots get started, and the club mentors young flyers. Besides monthly meetings, the club runs fun flys and a yearly float fly at Lake Perris, and takes part in local air shows and community events.
