Western Ohio Radio Kontrol Society (WORKS)

Formed in October 1958, WORKS (AMA #524) calls itself one of Ohio's oldest model flying clubs. It flies at the WORKS/Hummel Field, part of an active private airfield on Carlisle Pike (SR 123) in Germantown. The club runs a free New Flyer training program (Tuesdays 6-8 PM, May-Sept, ages 12+) and holds events such as Super Scale Sunday and an Old Timers (SAM) event.
