Silent Wings Soaring Association (SWSA)

The Silent Wings Soaring Association (SWSA, AMA #1216) is a radio control sailplane and glider club in the San Gabriel Valley, with about 49 members on the AMA roster. Members fly RC sailplanes and gliders at a field off Fish Canyon Road in Azusa, near the San Gabriel River. The club publishes a newsletter and holds regular meetings. Membership is open, and AMA membership is required. Club rules ban drugs and alcohol and require models to be inspected. Check the club website or contact the club before your first visit.
