About the club
Long Island RC club that has flown at the DEC's Edgewood (Oak Brush Plains) Preserve in Deer Park since the 1970s and acts as a steward of the preserve; members fly fixed-wing, helicopters and multirotors, and the club hosts an annual helicopter fun fly ('Helis on the Edge') and the John Conklin Memorial Fun Fly.
