Canandaigua Sky Chiefs

Finger Lakes RC club organized in 1987 with over 60 members flying glow, gas and electric airplanes and helicopters, from scale to sport to pattern, at Chief's Airfield, a 600 x 150 ft grass field on the New York Steam Engine Association grounds off Routes 5 & 20. Hosts an annual summer Fun Fly and Swap Meet and a pattern contest, and offers a volunteer flight-training program; members also fly indoors in winter at area community centers.
