About the club
AMA-chartered club (#1760, chartered for more than 30 years as of 2015) in the Lubbock area that leases part of the closed Abernathy Municipal Airport as its flying site; the club resurfaced its weathered asphalt runway section with help from an AMA Flying Site Improvement grant and built start-up stands and picnic tables.
